• 1948 — Birth and Early Roots
  Mrs. Olajumoke Victoria Taiwo was born on August 8, 1948, in Kuta town, Osun State, to Okunoye and Amope Olafioye.
• 1965 — Move to Lagos
  In 1965, she moved to Lagos in search of greener pastures, beginning a new chapter marked by determination, courage, and hard work.
• 1966 — Beginning of Her Christian and Working Life
  In 1966, she joined The Apostolic Church and also began working at Tower Aluminum Nigeria Ltd in Ikeja.
• 1967 — Water Baptism
  On September 27, 1967, she received water baptism by the late Pastor F.O. Ewulo.
• 1968 — Right Hand of Fellowship
  On March 24, 1968, she received the right hand of fellowship under the late Pastor S.G. Adegboyega.
• 1970 — Marriage
  In February 1970, she married Mr. Joel Ipoola Taiwo at The Apostolic Church. Their union was blessed with many children and grandchildren.
• 1971 — Journey to New York
  In 1971, she travelled to New York, America, to join her husband. While there, they both pursued their studies and graduated from the university.
• 1977 — Return to Nigeria
  In 1977, she and her husband returned home to Nigeria, bringing back new experiences, knowledge, and a renewed commitment to building their family and future.
• 2008 — Loss of Her Beloved Husband
  In October 2008, her husband, Mr. Joel Ipoola Taiwo, passed on to glory.
• 2023 — A Life of Faith, Strength, and Generosity
  Mrs. Olajumoke Victoria Taiwo lived as a devoted Christian, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, mentor, friend, and businesswoman. She was remembered for her strength, generosity, courage, wisdom, and deep love for her family and community. Mrs Olajumoke Victoria Taiwo passed on to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023

Hmm! Your departure represents a very sad moment of grief to me. You acted as a sister- born by another mother, also as a bosom friend! We first met at The Apostolic Church, Palmgrove Assembly at a Sunday Service. You were with your husband and children. You immediately showed interest in me as you were attracted to my twins which you naturally claimed as yours because you were Iya Ibeji and you answered Mrs Taiwo. You later heartily took me to your contract business platform at Alausa to partner with you to boost my income so as to cope with my large family. So magnanimous of you. You said, and I quote “Let us go into the world of business”. At Alausa, you worked like a man and you were very thrifty. We made clean money together and you shared our proceeds with the fear of God. You believed in fairness. While on the field and when we were tired or had some issues with the government, you always teased me with your tantalizing jokes and your usual spirit-lifting songs which you always rendered with your ringing voice to counter the stress. Your most favourite song was this: Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I’m found, Was blind, but now I see. Mama Bola, you were a jolly fellow! Even in your homefront, I used to observe how you genuinely loved your late husband and your children. You will forever live in my heart as a legend. Adieu.

We thank God for a beautiful life she spent loving, accommodating, caring, dependable, humane and God fearing she showed to people around her. I am short of words. I still can’t believe she has left this world but I take solace in God that she is with her maker in a better place. My last moment with her she said we should allow her to go, that no matter what, she will leave. But her usual saying was "Tani fe ku" for her to have surrendered her strong will. We thank God.
